Certificates of authenticity are an important tool to help ensure that reclaimed wood products are genuine. A certificate of authenticity should include the following information:
- The name of the supplier of the reclaimed wood
- A description and/or photos of the reclaimed wood
- The date of the certification
- A statement that the wood has been inspected and certified as meeting certain criteria
- A unique number to identify the object.
